Director of Permanent Services
Derek started his career in recruitment in 1999 as a specialist consultant focusing on the Networking & Infrastructure sector and following considerable success in this market moved into the Project Management and Analysis.
Here Derek gained experience of running advertised campaigns, retained assignments and headhunt searches for clients including Matalan, Alberto Culver and Mastercard.
Derek has progressed from Manager and Regional Director, to his current role as Vertical IT’s Director of Permanent Services. He is proven at developing staff who deliver specialist recruitment solutions based on sourcing market-specific candidates.
Derek's client wins have included; Swinton Insurance, Capita and Pearson VUE.
