IT security firm to invest in new jobs

20 Jan 2012

A hundred jobs are to be created in Manchester by IT security firm NCC Group including roles for sales people, account manager and specialist.

This could prove a real boost for those looking to tie down testing or development jobs in the North West, with NCC already showing their strength in the recruitment market by employing 400 workers currently.

As well as those 400 jobs, the company employs a further 380 in all of its offices combined, while NCC has also recently announced revenues for the six months to November 30 rose 28 per cent to £42.4m compared with the corresponding period in 2010.

Chief executive Rob Cotton told the Manchester Evening News: "The cyber arms race continues to speed up and, with the technology revolution outpacing the ability of IT departments to cope with the plethora of security issues, we are well-placed to maintain our growth momentum."

NCC has reported strong growth in both its escrow division and its assurance arm.
