Those with jobs in SAP, the software giant, may soon be manufacturing their products to cater for the booming tablet market, after their chief information officer revealed it may be an option open to the company.
Oliver Bussman told the Tab Times that the company's presence at the recent Consumer Electronics Show was significant, claiming that tablet devices could benefit from the company's software.
Armed with a number of tablets, Mr Bussman attended the event with a keen intent on showcasing just what SAP products can offer tablets and the companies that own them.
Speaking to the website he said: "I did my homework. All the research shows the majority of companies are being influenced by consumer technology from media tablets to apps stores and social media collaboration."
Around 14,000 people with SAP jobs have already been given the chance to run business solutions on their tablets after being given Apple iPads.
