SAP's ERP technology can process "gargantuan amounts of data", claims chief

According to one chief at CRM & ERP manufacturer SAP, the company's latest ERP software will be able to process "gargantuan amounts of data".

Mark Aboud, who is the president and managing director of SAP Canada, told ITWorld Canada just how that specific arm of the company was expanding at an extremely quick rate.

It wasn't just ERP however which is showing promise, other areas such as analytics and mobile are also showing huge progress, according to Mr Aboud.

He told the website: "We now have highly affordable technology to manage gargantuan amounts of data. That's a big change, that's a huge change. And a lot of companies spend a lot of money managing a lot of data."

Within the interview, Mr Aboud went on to claim that SAP solutions are currently at a stage where they can be rolled out extremely quickly and also start to make money for businesses faster than ever.
